By requesting a valuation, submitting an enquiry or accepting an offer from MotorTake, you agree to the following terms.
About us
MotorTake is a London-based vehicle buying service. We purchase cars, vans, motorhomes and caravans directly from private sellers across all 33 London boroughs. Contact: info@motortake.co.uk.
Valuations
All valuations are estimates based on the information you provide and current market data. A final offer is subject to a physical inspection of the vehicle at the point of collection. We reserve the right to revise or withdraw an offer if the vehicle's condition differs materially from the description provided.
No obligation
Requesting a valuation creates no obligation on either party. You are free to decline our offer at any time before transfer of ownership is completed.
Vehicle ownership
You confirm that you are the registered keeper and legal owner of the vehicle, or that you have full authority to sell it. You confirm there is no outstanding finance secured against the vehicle unless disclosed to us in advance.
Payment
Payment is made by bank transfer to the account you provide on the day of collection. We do not pay in cash. Payment is conditional on satisfactory inspection and receipt of the signed V5C (or completion of the relevant DVLA notification where the V5C is unavailable).
Collection
We aim to collect within the timeframe agreed at the point of offer. Delays caused by circumstances outside our control (adverse weather, traffic, mechanical failure) do not constitute a breach of these terms.
Free tools
Our Tax Check and MOT History Check tools are provided free of charge for information purposes only. Data is sourced from DVLA and DVSA and is provided without warranty as to accuracy or completeness. We accept no liability for decisions made based on this data.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MotorTake's liability in connection with any transaction is limited to the agreed purchase price of the vehicle.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here is the current version.
